Austin Dental Assistant School

I was approached to redesign Austin Dental Assistant School’s website. I was given no direction – just their current site for content. In brainstorming, I thought that a soft blue scheme would be elegant and reflect a clean appearance – similar to that I would expect in a dental office. It was important to have [...]

Crude Land Services

The direction I was given for this logo was, ‘we want it to include an oil barrel’, and off I went. The first design I created had a round barrel ended up being a too cartoony. I shaved off the edges and squared up the sides. The most challenging part of this logo was choosing [...]

Knowledge & Able

I created this flyer as promotional material for a consultation service I have begun to help private business people with improving their technological needs and using technologies to improve their business. I needed a layout that was attention grabbing, well structured, and informative. I created a main heading with a sub head and featured contact [...]

Shaun Boyd Productions

I created this site as a donation to friend and film maker, Shaun Boyd. The site features his portfolio, some personal information, and testimonials from some of his previous clients. My favorite part of the design is the textured, subtle background, of a photo I had taken of Shaun on a film set. It does [...]

Chris Carson Realty

A school project assignment was to select a local business, collect information and develop and design a website for their needs. I elected to go to my Dad, a real estate agent, and see what I could do for him. He had little input on what he needed so I researched a number of individual [...]

Basic Revision

Basic Revision was a company I created for a school project. With the assignment came the requirements of a logo and a website. This was one of the first sites I designed from scratch and in my opinion, it shows. The elements are simple and minimal but represent the essentials of the site.

Liberty Trailer

This project was abandoned and this logo is not in use. Originally, the requirements of this logo were simply to maintain representation in some way with a Texas flag. Therefore, that was were I started. I removed the lone star and moved in a simple outlined truck.

Cornerstone Impressions

Cornerstone Impressions is a t-shirt and merchandising company in Fort Worth, Texas. This was a mockup logo I had done in school and is not their logo. It was a concept I developed during an unrelated project and continued to develop. I wanted the logo to represent the name of the company. I wanted it [...]

Basic Revision

Basic Revision was a company I created for a school project. With the assignment came the requirements of a logo and a website. The first iteration of the logo featured the text that is seen now and included the smiley face. However, this lacked the pop and impact that I wanted from the logo. Another [...]
